Since 2010 was the year of our 10th wedding anniversary, we decided to give us a few days in the city that we love most of all - London - during the Christmas season.
London over the Christmas period is even more beautiful from the street lights and decorated its windows, the ice rinks, Hyde Park transformed into a Winter Wonderland, markets and the Christmas carols and its monuments this magical atmosphere makes it even more impressive.
We also had the good fortune to see the snow-covered, an indescribably wonderful show!
The storm on Saturday, unfortunately, has caused great inconvenience and the cancellation of many flights, including ours. We ought to start on Saturday night and instead the first available flight was on Monday morning. So after a long night spent at Gatwick airport on a cold which is not described sleeping on the floor with hundreds of other people, on Sunday morning we found a lovely B & B in Horley, just 5 minutes from the airport, and We spent a quiet day in the snow (tanta!).
